Our Story
The idea for AI Audit Trail came from a real problem. In 2023, our co-founder Sarah Chen was working as a compliance officer at a major law firm when a client demanded proof that their legal brief was written by humans, not AI. The firm had no way to verify this.
She partnered with Marcus Webb, a former Google engineer specializing in behavioral analytics, to build a solution. They realized that by analyzing workflow patterns—keystroke dynamics, editing behavior, research paths—they could create a verifiable record of human contribution without capturing sensitive content.
Today, AI Audit Trail serves over 350 enterprise clients across legal, creative, financial, and healthcare sectors. Our Human Authenticity Certificates have been accepted in court proceedings, audit reviews, and client deliverable verification.
